This Privacy Policy explains how Krogerworks LLC (dba Kroger Insurance Agency) (“Agent”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information about our customers, prospective customers, and visitors to our website (collectively “Customer”) at www.krogeragency.com.
1. Privacy
Agent does not make available to the general public any personally identifiable information (meaning: full name, address, phone number, email address, other information about you personally) you provide to us in connection with your quotes or applications. Text messaging opt-in information is not shared with any third parties (including affiliates). We use industry-standard technology and efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. These include secure servers and firewalls. All of the user data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. Only authorized employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to this information.
2. Use of Information
We collect your personal information to help us decide if you’re eligible for our products or services. We may also need it to verify identities to help deter fraud, money laundering, or other crimes. How we use this information depends on what products and services you have or want from us.
3. Services Provided
Agent will provide Customer with automated text messages and emails regarding insurance matters, including price quotes, policy renewals, industry changes, and relevant updates (“Services”).
4. Consent
Customer consents to receive automated text messages and emails from Agent for the Services described. Standard message and data rates may apply.
5. Opt-Out
Customer may elect to end communications with Kroger Insurance Agency by replying STOP to any of our communications (email, text message, iMessage) or by contacting Agent directly via phone call, email, or text message. Standard message & data rates may apply.. Upon request, Agent will promptly remove Customer from the notification list.
6. Sharing of Information
From time to time, we may share your personal information with businesses hired to carry out services for us or our affiliated business partners, which may include, but not be limited to, virtual assistants, answering services, home lenders, realtors, or financial advisors. You also authorize us to use verbal, written, or email confirmation as authorization to send your information to unauthorized parties (e.g., your real estate agent, vehicle lienholder, mortgage servicing agency, other insurance agents, etc.). Your personal information will not be sold by Kroger Insurance Agency. We share your information to optimize our efficiency in processing both client and carrier requests.
7. Limitation of Sharing
You may tell us not to share your information with other businesses, except where required by law. Doing so will mean Kroger Insurance Agency will not send your personally identifiable information to anyone outside of our insurance partners, to whom we are contractually obligated. You will accept responsibility for remitting all documentation to any lenders, real estate agents, lienholders, etc.
8. Contact
You may contact your agent at any time following the execution of this agreement to request special handling instructions to be added to Kroger Insurance Agency’s internal file.
